Polycarbonate sheets come in many colours but the main ones are clear which lets in maximum light then Opal which is the opposite of clear in that it loses a lot of light but it still has two advantages one is it reduces heat build-up from the sun then the second advantage is the sheet hides dirt droppings etc so requires less cleaning the next colour is bronze which is a brown-tinted sheet so it goes well with timber structures like pergolas or on lean-to roofs above a patio. There is also less used colour like blue or heat guard which is silver there are also mixed sheets that have two colours like a bronze opal combination so you can have one colour outside and another colour inside. He was right but what does this mean to you? Well let's start with cutting polycarbonate can be cut with an ordinary hand saw a jigsaw or a rip saw with a fine blade and lots of care.
